EPPS Christian Center is a non-denominational church with a mission to reach out to the lost at any cost. WE believe according to Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
Pastor Sylvia E. Tisdale is the Founder and Pastor of the Epps Christian Center Ministries, a Nonprofit Religious Organization founded on August, 2003 to reach out to the Hungry, Homeless and the Hurting and to enhance the Spiritual and Quality of life for the community and others throughout the country and the world.
God has blessed the ministry of Epps Christian Center through the vision of Pastor Sylvia E. Tisdale. The church was established under her leadership and since that time, God has richly added to the ministry. Pastor Tisdale now pastor and direct ministries that touch thousands. Due to her Faithfulness many lives have been touched, changed and delivered.
Under the Leadership of Pastor Sylvia Tisdale the Epps Christian Center has sponsored several community events to enhance the quality of life for all citizens in Escambia County such as: Women Awareness Seminar to inspire Young Women in the Professional field of Politics, Media, Medical, Education and Law and to honor African American Women Accomplishments; Senior Citizens Christmas Gala, Mother’s Day Luncheon, Senior Night Out in the Park for an evening of Education, Fellowship and Entertainment, Community Clean ups, and offer Free Breakfast to the Homeless and Needy and Annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Meals to the Inner City Poor and the Homeless.
Food justice is an important part of community justice. We take donations form local businesses and use them to fight hunger. Help us connect with donors and with people in need.

Ecomfort, Inc. is the church's 501(c)3 outreach organization. Ecomfort assists with food giveaways as well as provides a Resource Center for the community Case management services include assistance with job applications, help with applying for benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid and social security, assisting the homeless with birth certificates and identifications. In addition clients are able to use the computers to file their tax returns, job applications and apply for benefits themselves. We also provide referrals to other agencies in the community for those needs we cannot assist with. We serve any in the community in need of assistance.
